Hades is the Greek God of the Underworld. This blog is not about Hades or any other personality in Greek Mythology.

Do Not Disturb

 <dc:description>
It is extremely disturbing to find oneself struggling to uncover, from the depths of a long unused memory, a certain ATM password. It is also, might I add, extremely disturbing to find that your ATM card has been gulped down by the 5 feet tall block of metal with a screen embedded into its torso. While the screen happily flashes a message asking you to contact the bank authorities you start wondering why you were cast down from the glorious world of Adam Smith.

It all started when I found myself in my room staring into a box which, to my horror was empty. Nevertheless there was a one rupee coin here and a two rupee coin there, but the fact of the matter was, I had before me an empty box. In case you are trying to understand the significance of the aforementioned </dc:description>

My First Blog Entry!

 <dc:description>Hades is the Greek God of the Underworld. Zeus and Poseidan, his brothers, were given earth and Ocean respectively, while Hades got the underworld.
He employs an enormous 3 headed dog called Cerberus to protect his domain's gates.The sign on Hell's Gate does not read 'Beware of the Dog'. It reads: 'Beware of the Three-Headed Serpent-Maned Monster Hound with Slavering Jaws and Deadly Halitosis'.
The story of Hades has nothing to do with this blog. I just used the name because it sounds cool.

After perennial attempts at starting a blog, the day has finally come. I do hope this blog will not be as ephemeral as the ones I had created earlier.
I have always wanted a medium through which I could express myself. Not for the gratification of my ego but for the satisfaction of these creative urges that I get. When I read a book, a science fiction let us say, that particular breed being my favourite, I get this strong urge to write a story of my own, to weave an intricate plot, to write a novel, to surprise or shock the reader as I myself have been, innumerable times.
In day-to-day life I never get a chance to explore the creative side of my mind, so maybe I get these urges because of all my suppressed creative energies. I do have a penchant for writing stories, stories about far off worlds and their inhabitants, for I find that through pen and paper I can assume the role of a creator.
Yes, creation is something that intrigues me. Maybe that is why my literary lenience is towards works of fiction. I am a partisan of the computer games, which involve strategy, which involve creation</dc:description>
