Expectation- A Dangerous Word!

EXPECTATION - A DANGEROUS WORD!

I've come across this word several times, i'm

expecting good results this time , "we have a lot of

expectations from you" ..mom says,"this was not

expected from you" , my teacher said to me ....i've

come across this word so many times and each time i

find it has differnt meaning!

According to me we have two kinds of expectations ..

one tat we have from ourselves and those which

others have from us!

Now what others expect from us can be endless , if i

start on that one i might just end up getting confused

as to what i am supposed to do and what not to ... coz

the expectation from me might not be the same what i

want from my own life .. and that i will realize only

when i understand myself....i wonder when i will be

able to understand myself completely , every time i

try to come to one convincing result about myself i am

faced with a hundred contradictions!

Now the point comes as to what i really expect from

myself ...do i expect my self to reach heights , no ..i'm

not that ambitious .Do i want to be the best .. no , i

dont believe in best or perfect ..i just want to feel

satisfied .

I expect myself to be independant , self dependant

may it be emotionally or in practical matters.

However , is the process of expecting from oneself

and meeting those expectations entirely self

dependant.I dont think so ...Your subconsious mind

may be root cause of certain expectations you have

from the environment you are in .. which you might

never realize! The simple human being loves to be

taken care of ... loves too be nurtured all his life .. but a

child does grow ino a man ,if not ,society marks him

as retarded!

Expectations from youself and meeting those

expectations ...makes you stronger each day! On the

other hand , expectations from your environment

makes you more and more dependant on them .Every

time you depend on someone to solve your problem

you are taking away an opportunity from your mind to

be creative , the chance to have made your self

tougher , you have diminshed your ability to reason ,

to rationalize, you have lost an ounce of courage from

you soul!

Expectations from yourself help you realize your

weaknesses and you strengths...how on earth will you

understand yourself if you dont spend time with

youself ,expecting from yourself enables to acheive

the a direct connection between what you want , how

you will get it , how much can you risk in order to get

it!

" It all in the mind" as someone rightly put it! Great

achievements are the results of great expectations

one has from himself!

I am not perfect and neither do i intend to be ..for me

realising my own personality, to come up with a best

possible solution which is my very own , is the

happiest way to live life!

It also simplifies life to a great extent...once

complicated issues suddenly seem tiny! All i need to

do is to rack my brain cells! You become responsible

for evrything that happens in your life .. and that has

great advantages ...your life is now in your control !

You have the power to change your mood...cause you

have something which is waiting to be

accomplished ...its another expectation !

Years have come and moments have passed by,

I rushed along with time , often wondering why?

Time Flies , i do agree

But being hasty is of no need

Every year this day would come,

But February , the fourteenth would never be fun!

From those teen years till i turned twenty-two,

I just kept waiting with nothing special to do...

Every year , it would be the same old story...

For me this day had begun to loose its glory...

But then came along the magical two thousand five

Just a single moment and it changed our lives!

Its a feeling undescribable, a feeling so pure ..

A feeling to be valued for life , and i will , i am sure!

What you have given me ,perhaps , may not be much for

you my love ...

But , having been blessed with you ,i know there is surely

God above !

For this long wait was far overdue..

But now in my life i have only one goal to pursue!

" I will love you till the end of time,

I will love you when the times are blue,

I promise this angel will be urz forever,

Whatever comes our way we are gonna make it

through!"

And now sweety , the 3 special words to wish you a very

happy valentine ...................

" BABY , I LOVE YOU"
