an atheists tale 2006-04-22T08:01:02+00:00 lifetype-1.2.12_r7211 http://blogs.fullhyderabad.com/rss.php?blogId=398&profile=atom Copyright (c) madabhishek2000 tag:blogs.fullhyderabad.com,2006-04-22:2432 an atheists story II 2006-04-22T08:01:02+05:30 well to continue where i left off , ( for those who havent read ma earlier post i was talking abt why people say that whatver we do is written in our destiny , and then contradict it , by saying ... madabhishek2000 General well to continue where i left off , ( for those who havent read ma earlier post i was talking abt why people say that whatver we do is written in our destiny , and then contradict it , by saying that we will be judged for whatever we do in our lives after we die ) there is a second and more nagging thing that comes to mind  ,  and that is why god ??? do u beleive in god ??? well not exactly would be an atheists answer . he would say however , that there is an entity , nore powerfull than we are , or can ever be , present in this world . something that we hold on to in times of need ,  like the railing of a balcony 10 stories high , not because we cant stand without it ,  but because it feels safe .   we hold on to god coz we feel that even though we have given our hundred percent , we dont know what the outcome will be  , at times like those u want to have something to hold on to , to give u the strength and the beleif to wait while time unfolds infront of ur eyes .   think abt it  .   tag:blogs.fullhyderabad.com,2006-04-22:2430 my experiences with truth 2006-04-22T01:23:13+05:30 what do u do when people all around you beleive in something you dont  ??? what do  you do when people all around u are engulfed in a dogma of global proportions ? when people ... madabhishek2000 General what do u do when people all around you beleive in something you dont  ??? what do  you do when people all around u are engulfed in a dogma of global proportions ? when people talk abt god and say he is the eternal entity and that whatever transpires is his doing , then i sometimes feel a little dumbfounded . not necessarily coz i am an atheist but because when a 6 billion people contradict themselves, it becomes a little hard to take  .   they say that everything we do is written in our destiny and that we have no say in any of it . and then they say that we shall be punished and judged for every deed we do.  does it make sense ?? i mean when we arent responsible for our actions in the first place , why should we be judged for them and on them ???   think abt it  .
