The Da Vinci Code

Hi all....
My apologies for this very delayed post...Got into the middle of something.
Well, it seems that a lot has been spoken about "The DaVinci Code" lately. And finally the movie is ready for a release in India. I don't understand, why some movies create a lot of fuss? The "Code" is said to be one of the biggest "block"-busters of the year and still is denied a release. The book has already created a greater buzz and now, the movie.
Tell me frankly, how many out there didn't read the book already? When reading is a book is not, how can seeing it on the celluloid is blasphemous!!
I saw "Monty Python's Life of Brian" lately, and found this movie bit more objecting than the "Code". But, it was a comedy for God's sake...So no issues from my side.
I say, a film maker(for that matter, any artist(e)) should never be stopped from what he/she wants to express. After all Freedom of expression is every citizen's right according to Constitution of India.
P.S: If you are feeling that you are being mislead by a piece of art, please ignore it. There are others who might find the same piece enjoyable.
Current Mood: Embarrassed
Current Music: Always look on the Bright side of life.
