United's story, is probably the most remarkable in league history. Given up for dead probably even by their own players after an awful 1-6 start at the half-way point of the season, the three-time defending finalists stunningly resurrected themselves and won 7 in a row to vault themselves into the playoffs- and with their run-rate claimed the #6 spot. With Imtiaz once again joining the league's best leftarm seamer Mehul in the pace attack, with new left-arm-spinner Amit joining his brother Nipun to form the new spin duo, with stroke players Faisal, Vamsee (yez it me), Adnan and the returning Gaurav providing punch to the middle-order, and with slogers Sudhir, Brian ,Hiten, Ritesh United will hope to carry their momentum into at least a repeat of their performances of the past 3 seasons - in all of which they went all the way to the finals. This would be the grudge match between Rivercity and United as United were beaten by the former during the regular season, on June 18th
