Was on my way home and noticed a small bird lying down. The watchman says it hit a glass structure nearby and was unable to fly. Twas pretty cold(by Indian standards at least). I could see it shivering. It was desparately trying to fly ... back to the skies where it truly belonged. It was barely the size of half my palm. I took it home, wasnt sure what to do with it. Left it in an empty shoe-box near the balcony. Checked on it after an hour or so. It flew away. Nature took its own course.
