Fallen

i am tired
i am drained
i am hollow

life - such a beautiful word
pity that i dont recognise things of beauty anymore
they all appear grey and black now

when you were a victor, it all seemed so easy
now you lie here.. vanquished and fallen
you were their prince once..
now you lie here.. stomped and defeated

i see no scars
i see no blood
just a spirit..
shattered and broken

everything seems so hazy
like grey smoke..
smoke off a drag pipe

this is me
this is my life
this is my truth.
