Back Up! Back Down!

"I have not lost my mind - it's backed up on a disk somewhere." - Unknown

Yeah. Precisely what I want. My mind to be backed up just like all the files are before formatting the hard drive. Sheesh. I wasted almost 1 1/2 days working on the comp...Backing up (Believe me, loads of Backing up!!!), Formatting, Installing and then putting everything in fine, working order. Yup, so my PC is fine now. But its my head that is hanging up. Pchh.

#Why can't these friggin' site maintenance people maintain stuff so that it doesn't come in my way? I've retyped everything btw. The ones after this. Pchh. Pchh only.

#I keep thinking, if everyone in this world got what they wished for, and there were limitless resources on this planet to help support their dreams, wouldn't everyone be rockstars? Uh.

#Terry Schiavo. The Pope. The Feeding Tube. One, an ordinary woman at the center of a national debate, who had to choose between life and death in unavoidable circumstances. The other, a champion of a religion, and holy to the masses, was too weak to choose, and too great to make a debatable one, was duly fitted with one to help prolong his life. People standing around at a hospital in the US fighting over what happened was right, or was it mercy - murder by the person she loved? People thronging the Vatican, and people praying aound the world, to pray for a man to help him live longer. Both leave legacies for humanity to follow. One, that we have reached a stage in evolution where we can make choices affecting us and the people around without caring about the aftermath. The other, in a completely different context, leaves a legacy of peace, love and harmony between the people of the world.

We are left to follow the paths of these individuals. But our own selfishness, pride and ego cloud us from doing that. Isn't it strange then, that we have OPINIONS about these people, what they did, what they chose, and what they lived for? Take the case of Schiavo. Thousands of people thronging and debating about what she did was right. But will they have the courage of her or her family in those kinds of times? Isn't it strange?

May their souls rest in peace.
