To the origins of juggernaut-2
We had left the earlier post when I was trying to see the idols from closer quarters. I inched myself a little closer, all the while looking back just to make sure that I have an exit route available. I was entering the yathra from the temple

i agree with the destructive force part....it might be an amazing sight but its equally destructive.

@veni: It is an experience to go through. The stampede maybe left alone though!
@san: :-) In hindsight, it does look adventurous, but those 10 minutes were quite petrifying when they lasted.

after readin this, searched the net for a while and found out tht there actually are courses offered on techniques to manage crowds during festivals and events. :o
