Ok. This is my first listing blog. What i am going to do is make a list of three of my favourite repeat value movies. I mean...these are the movies i can watch any number of times without getting bored. Now, what i am hinting at is....I may like a movie very much but it may not have much of a repeat value. Say for instance, 'Shawshank Redemption, The patriot, The ten commandments, Citizen Kane'. I may watch them in parts repeatedly but not from start-to-finish. Its not that they are boring. But they are too heavy. This top three list is of movies which can be watched repeatedly from start to finish. They never bore me. Here i go(In order of preference)
1)Casablanca
2)Roman Holiday
3)My fair Lady
How about leaving your list as comments?
Tailpiece: And yes, i may as well add 'The Matrix' to the list for a different reason. I had to watch it repeatedly to make out what it really is about! :-)
Current Mood: Happy Indeed!
Current Music: none

@june:Gone with the wind was as long as the book!Let me confess..i didnt watch the movie completely. :-( maybe the eastman kind of color was the spoilsport. Will watch it again with renewed interest. If june likes it, there has to be something in it. :-p
@shrink: the songs! they make all the difference.

dats sad..about the conflict of opinion thingie....
nyways movies like gone wid the wind and pride and prejudice are better understood and appreciated if uv read the novels beforehand...
and as for telugu movies... a big no no... cannot fathom why people even see them, no offence meant.. and hindi movies..the same goes for them too except for very few exceptions :)

hmm..i agree its a heart wrenchign movie. You shouldn't shy away frm hindi movies. They are great fun. Especially the d-z grade ones!:-)I agree with the 'better understood if you had read the novel' thing. I had read pygmalion before i saw 'My fair lady'. The 1000 odd paged Gone with the wind could be read if the red covered book had a bigger font.:-( Although, some ppl do make a mockery of the book version. Devanand's 'Guide'is one example.

All the silly myself has been trying to do is explain that I haven't said 'ME', but 'Me'. :o) God knows how I've come up with the same posting twice!
What will you guys say about 'Dead Poets Society', anyway? :o)
Me, as I was saying :o)
