I have a doubt... those religious ppl who were the reason behind banning the da Vinci Code movie were agruing that the movie was againt their religious sentiments. but then aren't religions and their ever grandiloquent public displays of their supposdly affection and faith towards gods against the beliefs and sentiments of the atheists?? Atheism is also an ism and why isn't it being given the same place and respect as other isms?

Hey handsome! U know wat.. other isms florish coz they ve got orgs,grps,missionaries,.. to provide food,shelter,money,...to the ppl arnd and obviously ppl go behind those. And whether they really believe in god or not is mere secondary,unknown,......Finally it becomes grandiloquent.well other isms even hire ppl to inject beliefs and sentiments to other brains(?)
Piya, That was a beautiful rendition on the peculiarity of atheism. The traditional isms believe in the force of unity; where as atheism believes in the force of unitary. Atheism is confrontational and non-conformist by its very nature. It is the critique of the other isms.
