My work on my world

and where it all grows, the great and mediocre not me a one of them, to be a humble hoper

The final night

A sudden bout of sadness falls upon
Where it is from whence it came
And temporary bliss that is gone
The earth it is just all the same

For why a man to live in fear
Of that an inevitable thing
As the cold pain of wait does seer
An approach and ruin they bring

The angels of death on steeds of white
Their crowns the red as human blood
And mouths the song of victims plights
Their step filled in otherworldly mud

Their caress as harsh as a thorn entwine
And some soft as a lovers touch
The difference is of influence benign
In fate of a soul dreading such

Bereaved of form the angels loom
Yet gaining in hold and might
Their words the tales of impending doom
That whisper in the cold dark night

And in finality to loose and surrender
Life, the glowing light in darkness cast
To a divine plan and a hope of splendor
Where mere pain and sadness lay surpassed
