The longlist is out. I am putting my money on Coetzee. Yet again. May Summertime be the brightest find at this year's Man Booker do.

    but, my happiness had to be and was short-lived... came to know - right from the horse's mouth - there aren't any beloveds at all :(( n here i was thinking i was one... baaaah :((

    oblivion, when are you publishing *your* book? am still waiting for you to publish it and become part of this list that u seem to so admire! u'd promised long ago you'd do it soon... when is that gonna be? also, what happened to the play? and the film? & my part in it? and what about the donkey? and the gardener? all broken promises, like always? :? :(
