Hard Questions 2

aloque | 28/06/2004, 19:07 hrs

Is there a God watching

the children of his thought?

Is he guiding their living

or, are our conceptions

wrong, lies dearly bought?

Do we fear a redemption,

shackled by original sin,

when imperfection is our lot?

If we can honour our being

with motives free of deception,

do we need to honour a God?

  1. Aloque, been too close to where you are with this... very close. This one is nice. :)

  2. I guess I have had this conversation with myself too many times before.

Is there a God or isn't there?

Well, if there is a god out there, I am sure of one thing.
He didn't put us on earth to think of whether he exists.
If it was for us to know, we would have by now.

I guess what I am trying to ask above is - why cannot we live our lives honestly and we will find out one day, without fear....

  3. have you also ever wondered about your own existence?sometimes i see myself in the mirror and im struck by the thought "who AM i??? and what am i DOING here??" those are the times i feel closest to God..because there doesn't seem to be any other plausible answer except that God made us and he put us here on earth for a purpose...btw, nice blog and thanks for posting comments on mine :)

  4. Honestly, I don't question why I am here, or what i am supposed to do.
I believe in taking things as they come.
Its been over a week since i looked into a mirror anyways!

  5. God is man's biggest mistake.

Microtone, eh? ;-) All the best to them.

  6. I'd have to say it's pretty much the other way around neuro.

  7. @Tabrez: nope. Not at all. Think about it...but, of course, u must be willing to debate the existence of God first...
