Hmm. i think allowing someone you love get hurt is a great tribute. only thru hurt can they scale their problems, become maturer and learn. learning, as you would know, is the key element to living life and growth.
it's a tribute to that which is above all. for you would perhaps be a hindrance to the grander plan.
to watch someone you love and allow it to slice through you will again aid you in personal growth too.
sometimes leaving someone alone is the best thing you can do for a person.
how? i'm sure your much too smart to ask that question. :)
