Living but dead?

Posted by dawn in General | 12:57pm

Have you ever received an sms from a friend late in the night that says, 'when someone tells you - life is beautiful, they are lying! Coz it ain't!'

Has a friend ever told you she wants to die and so badly that she wishes it were now!

Has a buddy called you for almost like 20 times in the past 2 hrs and she has nothing to say except for

Current Mood: Thoughtful
Current Music: ill be there for you... i will be

yeah i've heard a friend say something of that sort abt life.. and i was there for him. it wouldn't have gone the suicide way, though.

i shud say..ur friend is fortunate ... coz its not so effortless and facile as it sounds to 'be there'..
u know there are times when u think, 'why can't she/he be normal for once and think straight?'
it doesn't dawn on that if he/she were right-minded there wudnt be so much of negativism!!

I completely relate to what has been written as the victim, the depressive.
It is not the aboriginal problem thats depressing, sometimes the fact that you have nobody to talk to is even more depressing!

'Holy mess''a crunch''a hitch''a problem' now who doesnt have that?
It is how we respond to it, how we bounce back.
Hey depressive, i too have been there before and when i was depressed and retaliated, people called me a schizophrenic :(

I jus spoke to a couple of friends of mine and they didnt like the concept of 'we can do very little' and suggested therapies that would help...well as much as i appreciate their input, i was rather talking about being a friend for 'the moment'...
Depressive and me, most of us have been there at one point or the other, it is best to be thankful for the friends we have and sometimes take pride in surviving the odds...

Really hope I had somebody like you: Dawn n Rainmaker.

Life is a roller coaster ride of emotions, which sometimes get a lil too rough for a person to handle. Its at such times that u needs friends, who, as Dawn says, will just listen to u cry.

saying axioms are primordial and this has become a caprice among teens. One should question themselves whether they belong to the saying ones or the doing ones?????
as i have been thru it i jus wann say one thing.....Instead of blaming others it's better one don't get into such situation .......life is small and beautiful, let us not allow such maladies and bugs (like depression)to enter our Intriguing life........

yeah rainmaker is rite wma...u didnt know back then that it wud go the suicide way, n besides u simply cannot take the blame!
u cannot change things now, but u can certainly deal with them... u were there for ur friend in need, u did what was required of u, the rest was not in ur hands....

wma:: when people go away suddenly without giving us a fair chance to tell them what we think of - or feel for - them.. its Destiny, not your fault.

what do u need counselling for? you're perfectly alright.. just rid yourself of that guilt. you were Not responsible for what happened!
