My love letters...
I have at all times believed I express better writing than talking to someone…. like my brother called me last night and I told him to get online so tat I cud have a 'real' chat! He is of course used to it but my friend, who had heard me say that, was dazed!
Even as a kid, when I did not harmonize with my parents on an issue, I'd write little notes and put it in my mom's purse or dad's shirt for them to read it later…
It was painless for me to write a note of how much I treasured my brother, or how much I longed for him than to vocalize my feelings and mumble when he'd ask me why I was standing like a statue staring at him!
My little writings have always alleviated my concerns- to apologize or to thank, to express my fears or my joys, to celebrate or to grieve… they are a sure way of letting others know I care… (Well, checkin it like a 100 times to c if they have yet read them and if not, telling them to look for it, is a total different issue rite?)
Writing something, even if it is a simple 'thanku' or 'sorry' has eased the tension so many a times and has helped my relationships grow fonder…
My little 'love' letters make me smile… :)

writing is so much easier and convenient.. for me as well. i haven't written such 'love' letters to anyone... but i do prefer chatting at times. hmmm, never tried the 'thanku' notes coz im very ill mannered when it comes to showing gratitude to my family :D

dawn: Saying it is always so tough.. cant remember the last time I used those words.
if you had told me about these thanku notes ten years back, i would surely have made it a habit. too late to start with it now coz i'd get weird reactions from my parents :)

it's never too late for nything i suppose... but then sometimes actions speak far better than words and lil notes, if tats yer style, keep up wid it..:)

went to an uncle's house today.. his lil kids karisma and kareena had just returned from their vacation in india. while we had lunch, lil kareena told us a story of how "we were in a forest and i was walking with kalisma. then a monster came and started fighting with us. it killed kalisma n she died. but then i hit the monster on its head and rescued karisma" :D reminded me of your dagons

it reminds me.. of the kinda stories my bro used to tell when we were lil kids, there was dis valley next to my school..it was probably an olive garden and he'd talk bout liliputs and spiderman and a showdown to fetch the olives and how he helped the liliputs fighting spiderman off! God knows where he figured tat out :P

My ex n I always used to fight whenever we chatted. Just 'cuz one sentence can mean so many things, and without the facial/vocal expresssions its hard to know what exactly one means. So we totally stopped chatting :(
Thats the closest I ever came to writing. :|
But yes have a few frends who can do that. Had this one frend, who wud write me small notes whenever she cudnt reach ome on the phone. I dint know abt it till one day she gave me all the notes! :)

u know i prefer the chat, coz it hides my emotions most times, im d kinda person tat does not believe in crying, and when i get into a fite, i sometimes do get hurt and end up crying, but if its d net, id atleast continue chatting without their knowledge, but if its in person, i dont even say nything, i simply walk away..
notes n chat always have helped me voice my feelings better, maybe its jus me..

but tell me, dont u find that sometimes the other person misunderstood u 'cuz s/he cudnt see the body language along with what u said?
But yes one more thing, i take a lil bit of time to get comfy with ppl. And till such time I defenitely prefer chatting. Somehow I am more at ease not hearing/seeing that person. But once that barrier is broken, i prefer to talk.
