Seems like too much of a coincidence to ignore :)

The Society to  Save the Rocks is organising a "Save the Rocks" walk the coming Sunday at 3 pm.

For further details, you could contact 2355 2923.

Oh I'm sure you will like it. They are usually quite nice and pleasant. And if your are the slightly adventurous type then you can even go off the beaten track and indulge in some rock climbing! Frau Khader (the German lady who organises this stuff) is very very nice.

Right you are, about the lady being very nice.

We went towards Gandipet. The weather was really great. Really cloudy .. you might think it would rain any moment but it didnt. Scouted around for a while and then started climbing. A few people have done some homework so we get to know which is the best way to get right up there :). Instead of scaling heights we went around the place.

The crowd was pretty nice too, spanning all age groups...10-60+. The turnout wasn't big coz of our Pak-India fixture. But that wasnt too bad either....as we had the best of both worlds ... as in we didnt miss the climax of such a terrific match. Pity, we didnt win :(

Anyways they have these meets every third Sunday of the month. I'm pretty sure I am not gonna miss the next one. The second best incentive would be the excercise and best one, being the refreshing fragrance of fresh and crisp air(away from the polluted smoke dust etc) incensed with some natural herbs/shrubs.

Maybe I should have made a post instead of such a long comment... but then, no more rock-ing posts from me. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I miss those rock walks. The freah air, those rocks toweing above you, the undisturbed silence... I only wish that tehy create more awareness and take more direct action to save the rocks. Its easy to say this but well I can't help saying them...!!
