My first and foremost job, when I decided that I want my own blog was, to keep reading blogs. I visited several sites in blogspot, rediff, bloggers, private blogs, public blogs. I went to the comments area to see how one comment and how it is replied. I wont say that I did an extensive research on what I exactly want, but I can happily admit that I got addicted reading a few blogs. Loved the style, the way of writing and yes, I do think putting up a blog in an interesting way is a talent. No doubt about that.

In this particular site, some blogs are really impressive. I wont say that the others are bad or boring, but some do stand out. I would not say that the blogs showing on the maximum traffic are the only popular ones. There are some small blogs as well, which are really very good. But then again, the top few blogs are of course very striking. Aran and Lily has definitely got the endowment to steal the show.
Is it possible to try to know a person by reading his/her blog? When he/she is not using it as a diary? As per Aran

As for the possibilities which you've thrown up>> you got almost ALL of 'em wrong! 'cept for Aran ofcourse, she is being quite grim nowadays...not a good thing.
I dunno about Stupendous Man bein funny. Neurotron does suck at machines in the real world, but his blog isn't really about machines...he jus calls himself a brainmachine..apparently after some famous rock song which I won't even pretend to know..Neuro please to elaborate.

About the people whom I have mentioned, I myself do not know them. I know them as much as you know them. I have just read their blogs (which are all in this very site and you have the liberty to read them whenever you can)and thats all I know of them. Hence, I am sure this is perfectly generalised. What do you say?
