My first and foremost job, when I decided that I want my own blog was, to keep reading blogs. I visited several sites in blogspot, rediff, bloggers, private blogs, public blogs. I went to the comments area to see how one comment and how it is replied. I wont say that I did an extensive research on what I exactly want, but I can happily admit that I got addicted reading a few blogs. Loved the style, the way of writing and yes, I do think putting up a blog in an interesting way is a talent. No doubt about that.

In this particular site, some blogs are really impressive. I wont say that the others are bad or boring, but some do stand out. I would not say that the blogs showing on the maximum traffic are the only popular ones. There are some small blogs as well, which are really very good. But then again, the top few blogs are of course very striking. Aran and Lily has definitely got the endowment to steal the show.
Is it possible to try to know a person by reading his/her blog? When he/she is not using it as a diary? As per Aran

There are some common topics on which everyone can talk. You get up on some public transport and simply pass a comment as simple as, Dravid could have played with a bit of more concentration in the match yesterday, or, this is perhaps the hottest summer one has ever seen, or maybe something like, the current government is really getting corrupt. Just pass the comment and within minutes you will see how the whole (well, many people in the bus I meant. I can generalize a bit I hope

On my first ever post, on my first ever blog, (about which I have just started to boast) I was accused (this may not be the right word, rather, lets say I was charged) of baiting for comments, and attracting readers. On my second ever post, it was confirmed (statistics taken from the comments section of the 2 above mentioned posts).

I was looking for a style. Being subtle or straight, expressive or impassive. (I have a dictionary and a thesaurus handy, so I can come up with thousands of such adjectives, and their respective antonyms, but hey, did I say, I would like to make my first ever blog a boring pack of hmm?(And hmm again, because I copied this bit of keeping a

After I created this blog entirely for myself (no no, this was and is no baiting {as someone commented, geez}. In fact I can really boast about it). I am worried how to take it on. Its not an easy job mates, to sustain a blogging relationship and I realized that as soon as in 2 days. I do not know what to write here. (ofcourse I don

Blogging has indeed become a fashion within the current youngsters. It has become a status to maintain a blog. And for those who maintain multiple blogs, there are simply WOW. I was finding myself low and degraded for not having a blog of MY OWN and hence such a fantastic creation. What do you think? I needed this? And someday, if I am terribly lucky to create one more blog of MY OWN, I will link that one to the favorites of this one and vice-versa. And then I will also become a WOW.

Why do people blog? Some people blog to share stuff. Like Neurotron wanted to show his new bike, so he put it up on his blog. Some people blog to take out their suppressed emotions. Like Lily does, in her blog. Like Aloque does, at times, in his blog. Some people love to share their emotions in more subtle ways, strong hints, yet not direct. That
