so it doesnt matter. an accountant by trade... no comment on tht, who knows they say the world is turning on its axis and tomorrow will be a different place.
Lily... (silence is golden)
:)
What do I say? And how do I say it? This is just so beautiful that anything I say will be washed out in comparison. I just wish my words had even a bit of that feeling in them. :)
And hugs... when rainmaker goes.
doesitmatter: change is the only constant in life
rainmaker: leaving gold on my blog? Now I don't even have to go to the suq
Aran: starts the hugging :)
now for some silver ;)
your poem is twice as powerful because it centres around betrayal.. one of the few crimes in the world that go unpunished.
this stanza of your poem is just so brilliant:
A victim of modern society

And pretexts to justify their own misdoings
keep the short meaningful poems coming, and the loooong insightful articles too!
;) a wry half smile is all this poem leaves me with
rainmaker: thanks, but in a way betrayal is not just a crime, it's also one's own gullibilityy no? and now for the bronze? :D
doesitmatter: well I couldn't help it, I mean you open a page to start writing, then your mood takes over, so sorry for the wry smile and will try to replace it with a chuckle in the next post.
you're right about the gullibility. but every person should be gullible to an extent.. otherwise he or she would become untrusting & paranoid. i hate betrayers because they turn unsuspecting golden hearts into Bronze.
PS: i know i'm launching into this major tirade against betrayal, its not from personal experience (touchwood) but from tales of unfortunate friends..
i didnt hold it against you lily, just acknowledging your words in my way.
also leaves me sad :( wheres aran, i need a fresh one from her and you too.
dim, she'll bounce back soon. She told me she's tough and I'm going to hold her to it. :)
And as for me... yessir! In a couple of days maybe.... Why are you so quiet though? Nothing on yours for more than a month now. Get writing! (And why do I talk to you so much on other's blogs? :p )
Btw, this woman writes good. Sigh. I know I am repeating myself... but... the want... to write... like this... isn't... dying... *Pathetic sigh.*
rainmaker: smiles, bronze is better than stone, at least it has a melting point somewhere, grins, and I hope you never feel let down or disappointed by anyone :D
Doesitmatter: don't be sad, smiles, what goes down must come up and all that :)
Aran: thanks, hugs, and you do write so well, remember my blog idol? ANd yes, I will bounce back. After all it is always : Illegitimis nil carborundum!!
Carbon is not illegitimate? :s Wha...?
lol lol lol Aran no it translates to "dont'l let the bastards get you down"
Nice quote. I'm going to steal it. :D
And if you're throwing around latin (I suppose it is latin) about illegitimates, then I hope you're better. :D (})
better than? sheesh you asked everyone to go forth and be miserable :P and then I write a sad poem and everyone thinks I am bad? sobs
Listen... that post was for people I dedicated it to!! Not you. :p So you get back to your nice, bubbly self...
:O, only them? so not anyone should be miserable? and why didn't I ever get a dedication of a post? sobs, now I am miserable :(
You didn't get a dedication cos I could not even dream of dedicating one to you. You're... well... you're MG. Sigh. You know, unless you want me to elaborate here... and then they'd all know how I worship you. Well, they know already, but... :D
utterly tonguetied & speechless, retreats
