Dont u attract much jealousy towards u? being multi lingual, multi cultural, having the best of both or even more cultures and so being so elobrative?
you certainly are interesting.
i forgot to mention, u are not a nut sitting between two chairs. I would rather call you an ocean touching two shores
Damn! That's one long post...... (pant) I'll read the rest later.
guys of which culture interest u?i mean, not in the sense of judging a guy by colour to have a relationship with him, but u know... just crushes.... like...when you see someone good looking of the oppossite sex and your eyes automatically zoom towards them.
do u know what i mean.

That was a delightful and captivating (and attenuated) post, as usual!
Your BOTCADP concept is interesting. If the number of BOTCADPs increase generation-wise, I think we can unite the world day. They would be nothing like an American or British or a Hindu or a Parsi. We would all be mixed nut humans. Wow! This post can be used as a stepping stone to a peace message to the world. I can see a glistening celebrated future for MG. (})
lol, thanks, I always knew us mixed kids are special, it should be BOTCASI (Born of two cultures and simply irresistable) :D
"Stranger in a strange land"...so do u speak any other languages???
Green Bamboo shoot: no I don't lol, I don't usually flaunt it you know. I usually try to keep a low profile :D And thanks, the ocean metaphor is very poetic, beams.
Ravi : grins, you do NOT have to read them you know, it's a free country and a free blogging society, nobody will quizz you on them you know?
Jai: appearances can be deceiving, so I go for culture :D, the guy HAS to be CULTURED, regardless of his colour.
T: blushes, thank you, I didn't see it this way but I guess that bridging differences between two cultures is indeed a means to further understanding. If European & Oriental values can be combines, I am sure any others can as well :D
Cat: lol, well we are rather a handful aren't we? eeling our way out of getting nailed on ONE culture, no?
Divakar: yes I do, quite a few :D
lily: well.... I WANT to read it. I liked it till where I read it so I'm going to continue. And then you can quiz me on it. Hehe.
divakar: i hope u were asking her about the once she speaks with her eyes. were u ma mate?
oops.... once=ones
n lily, i was talking about first impressions, crushes at looks, not what u go for at a later stage after u get to know the guy.was just curious, was trying to find similarities/differences with my other friends.anyway, its notIraq
Ravi: have fun :)
Jai: you can tell by the first glance if someone is cultured or not, you won't know if he has read books or is a great conversationalist or even has a sense of humour or not, but if he walks tall with his head held high, with confidence and pride of who he is and what he can do, if he looks straight at you not appraisingly up and down but directly into your face, it shows he is refined with good manners and cultured. That's the type and that's what I meant.
**was in the neighbourhood when something caught his attention**
Hmm... someone talking about 'nuts' ??
**whistles and remembers to walk by again**
Okay, nuther lovely post. And Mixed Nuts, the movie was hilarious. This has nothing to do with your post at all. Just saying, I was here. And will be later too. Where's Maddy? :p
Now seriously, I know what you're talking about. I've felt niether here nor there for most of my life too. It's about language (I'm better at english than my mother tongue) and conventional vs. liberal. Sometimes I wonder if I was born in the wrong place. It's somewhat frustrating at times. :|
hey.. thats an interesting post about the confluence of two cultures. my parents belong to two different regions of india.. however i'm bad at both languages that they speak. so we speak in english/hindi most of the time.
Crackednut: I am honoured by the visit, do drop by again :)
Aran: I didn't see the movie, was it good? And don't get frustrated ((hugs)) try to be one and also two ;)
Rainmaker: wb, smiles, and I don't know, but maybe with dialects of one language it is different from 2 separate languages altogether? But then you would have ended up with 4 ;)
Yep, the movie was good. Watch it sometime. Preferably with friends. :)
