Labor omnia vincit - Work conquers all things or does it?

Unless someone with influence acts soon, this post must serve as an obituary for the hopes I had earlier this year of reform in my place of work, sighs. Today I was again stuck most of the day in meetings, which I absolutely detest. They are nothing but counter-productive, boring, tiresome, useless, impractical, futile, means for mis-communication, discrimination, blame allocation and picking veiled fights, in short an utter waste of time. Now I know what whoever coined the phrase :
