Our craziness

Blogger | General | 14 December 2004, 5:47pm

Blogging has indeed become a fashion within the current youngsters. It has become a status to maintain a blog. And for those who maintain multiple blogs, there are simply WOW. I was finding myself low and degraded for not having a blog of MY OWN and hence such a fantastic creation. What do you think? I needed this? And someday, if I am terribly lucky to create one more blog of MY OWN, I will link that one to the favorites of this one and vice-versa. And then I will also become a WOW.

 < ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Why do people blog? Some people blog to share stuff. Like Neurotron wanted to show his new bike, so he put it up on his blog. Some people blog to take out their suppressed emotions. Like Lily does, in her blog. Like Aloque does, at times, in his blog. Some people love to share their emotions in more subtle ways, strong hints, yet not direct. That

Current Mood: Triumphant
Current Music: Dham Dham Dham ... thats my heart beat. Something is going on in the background, but I am really too nervous to post in MY OWN blog for the first time ever. Real significant moment for me - Ha !

sita | 14 Dec 2004, 7:24pm

whoa whoa whoa there. Current fashion????
Hold on just one second. Nobody blogs to be in things. (You made it sound like blogs are some item numbers in some mass movie) And nobody, just nobody blogs because they want to be, uhm... 'Wow'.
Unless certain somebody's like thee come along and say hello to this part of the world wide web.
My comment might just become a ranting.
Most people who blog that I know, blog to put their thoughts out to the world.
As for the personal mention you made of me, nice effort, very flattering and all that. Confusion is an emotion most people have. I guess I'm one of those few. I use my blog as a blog. I put what I write, sometimes good, and most times not, and I put my thoughts out for everybody to see. It's just a way to open up. That is the general purpose of blogs.
But anyways, a blog is a personal webspace, and you are entitled to put what ever you want in it. So if you want to put stuff that'd make you uhm, wow, like you put it, then please do.
Oh, I'm not done. I forgot one teeny weeny point. Sarcasm is a virtue not many posess. That fits in, really, but has nothing to do with the post above.

Fundo comment Sita. And I loved the comparism of blogging with item numbers.
Yes I agree - people blog to put in their thoughts. And I am doing the same - aint I? I want to feel WOW by blogging and for once I did not hide that thought from the people of the world wide web (how I love your comment. I am commenting using your comment. Whoa).
And confusion? Well, I am a bit confused about your blog, because your thoughts are too diffcult. (I mean do you think in such a difficult way? If you are happy, you dont mention straight that you are happy, instead you mention something like, the the stars are tied with the rainbow ! :| :O)(Oh shucks, thats not you, but you are no less I should say)
See, how confused I am, already !
I agree with your sacrasm view. Its indeed a virtue which NOT many people possess. And this has nothing to do with the comment, with my blog or with your blog.
Peace !

Baiting is an interesting sport and i see you do it well, judging by the number of comments and reactions therein.
What of regular commentators who do not have monstrosities of thier own.
Plz comment.

Blogger | 16 Dec 2004, 12:10pm

Hanktheyank, lets say that my "style"?

Amita. Ok. Ok. OK.

Rajeev | 11 Aug 2006, 2:41am

Listen to Sunehri Yaadein on Twin Cities' Rainbow FM channel every Saturday at 9 pm. Full of old Hindi film songs with interesting snippets, comepered by a very fresh, no-nonsense voice.

Indira | 11 Aug 2006, 2:47am

Yup. I liked that "no-nonsense" voice bit. It's very refreshing and completely different from the flippant DJs, RJs, VJs, etc., who are swarming the channels, yelling like a bunch of street peddlars selling useless stuff. This chap, Pradeep Singhi wants you to sit up and listen to what he's saying. The comments are informative, sometimes mildly humourous. Selection of songs is awesome. I haven't missed a single broadcast of Sunehri Yaadein since it started a month ago.

Anshu | 30 May 2007, 11:48pm

Sigh...All good things must come an end......Sunehri Yaadein is over, dunno why. Wish I could get in touch with that compere, Pradeep Singh.......I hear he lives at Calcutta. Any help, anyone?
